Akman Tüzünkan Is Going To The Turkish Final
Near East University Swimming Team athlete Akman Tüzünkan and our coach Avni Cankurt are leaving the island to participate in the 12 Age 12 Turkey Final within the scope of the National Development Project to be held in Denizli on December 13, 2023.
12-year-old Akman Tüzünkan attracted attention with his successes in the regional and Turkish championships in the 2022-2023 season. Tüzünkan, who holds Turkish records in 50, 100 and 200 meters freestyle, 50 meters backstroke and 50 meters breaststroke, wants to represent Turkey in international arenas by achieving successful results in the final competitions in Denizli.
Our coach Avni Cankurt stated that Akman Tüzünkan is a talented and hardworking athlete and said, “Akman is a determined and ambitious athlete.
