Kempo Defense Sports Federation National team, which participated in the 18th IKF (Kempo Federation) Kempo world championship held in Tunisia, achieved significant success. While 750 athletes and 83 referees from 60 countries participated in the 18th IKF Kempo world championship, according to the IKF rules, the country participating with 10 athletes had to bring at least 1 referee, and the organization where membership fees were paid was held in a very crowded manner.

World 3rd place, Referee Diploma
In the 18th IKF Kempo World Championship organized by the World International Kempo Federation in Hammamet, Tunisia, our national athletes coach and team captain Mustafa Bürüncük became the 3rd in the World in the 21-38 years old senior Kempo Submission category -65 Kg weight. Mustafa Bürüncük also received his National Referee diploma from Edward Hartman, President of the World Referee Committee.

Kempo national team athlete Büşra Turan managed to come 3rd in the World in the -60 kg weight in the 14-16 years old kempo submission category. At the same time, Büşra Turan, who achieved the 2nd place in the -70 kg Semikempo World in the same age category, managed to achieve 3 important degrees in 3 branches she participated in as the 3rd in the Weapon Kata category.
Second in the World
Kempo national team athlete Muhammet Ege Öztürk, on the other hand, achieved the 2nd place in the World in the 14-16 years old Kempo Submission category in the -70 kg weight. Muhammet Ege Öztürk, who came 3rd in the world in the Semi-Kempo category, also came 2nd in the world in the Ege kata category. Our national athletes, who achieved significant success by ranking in the 18th IKF Kempo world championship held in Hammamet, Tunisia, returned to the island under the leadership of Mehmet Ingenç.
