Great Excitement in Kyrenia with Handball U14 Kyrenia Cup in the International Arena!
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Handball Federation is organizing a big event in Kyrenia for an international tournament for under-14 handball teams. Handball teams from Kazakhstan, Kosovo and Turkey will participate in this important organization, which will take place with the contributions of Kyrenia Municipality and Sports Department.
“Handball U14 Kyrenia Cup”, which will take place at Kyrenia Ertuğrul Apakan Sports Hall, will be held between January 22-27 and will be a tournament where 6 teams will compete in total. A team from Kazakhstan, a team from Kosovo, ODTÜ and TED College U14 men’s teams from Turkey will come to our country to compete in the tournament. From TRNC, UKU and NEU U14 men’s teams will also take part in the Kyrenia Cup.
TRNC Handball Federation President Ediz Arıkan thanked the Sports Department and Kyrenia Municipality for this great organization and stated that the teams participating in the tournament have a great meaning for the under-14 youth, who are the future of TRNC handball. President Arıkan emphasized that it will be an unforgettable experience for U14 athletes with the struggle of the teams from Kazakhstan and Kosovo as well as two valuable teams from Turkey and invited all sports lovers to share the happiness of children at Kyrenia Ertuğrul Apakan Sports Hall between 22-27 January.
