Ordinary General Assembly of TRNC Athletics Federation
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Athletics Federation will hold its Ordinary General Assembly on Saturday, 17 February 2024 at 11:00 at Hasan Ruso, where the heart of sports beats. In this important event where the sports community will come together, critical issues such as the evaluation of 2023 activities, the presentation of the 2024 activity programme and the acquittal of the financial report will be discussed.
Opening and Presidency of the Council: The President of the Federation opened the General Assembly and welcomed the participants. Then, the election of the Chairmanship of the Council was started and the chairman, vice-chairman and clerk were unanimously elected by the participants.
2023 Activity Programme: In the section where the activities of the past year were evaluated, the achievements and highlights of the federation were discussed in detail. Interaction with the questions of the members was also provided.
2024 Activity Programme and Budget: The activities planned for the new year and the spending plan were shared with the participants. Details about the goals and objectives of the federation were discussed. A platform open to the questions and suggestions of the clubs was also provided.
Justification of the Financial Report: The Federation’s 2023 financial status, income-expenditure table and audit report were presented to the participants. The report was approved by the general assembly. Members received detailed information about the financial health of the federation and shared their opinions and suggestions.
Opinions and Suggestions: In this section, where the opinions and suggestions of the member clubs were received, the participants of the sports community presented their suggestions for the future of the federation. After the evaluation of the general assembly, the meeting ended with thanks.
This important general assembly was instrumental in taking important steps towards the future of the TRNC Athletics Federation. The coming together of the sports community enabled the identification of projects that will contribute to the further development of athletics in the coming period. The Federation continues to grow with the support of sports fans and clubs.
