Akman Tüzünkan Third Place in Turkey

Young swimmer Akman Tüzünkan, who carried the name of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC-KKTC) to great heights in the swimming world, achieved a great success in the Turkish Final of the 12 Age National Development Project League. In the 50-meter backstroke category, Tüzünkan achieved a tremendous performance and ranked third in Turkey with a time of 32.53, breaking the TRNC long course record and writing his name in history.

Akman Tüzünkan’s success was a great source of hope and excitement for future races, as he also passed the 13-year-old age threshold. His family and coaches, who shared their feelings with the phrase “Congratulations my son” to celebrate this important success, emphasized the great potential of the young athlete for the future.

They also expressed their gratitude to coaches Avni Cankurt and fitness coach Çetin Keskinel for their hard work behind this success. Avni Cakurt’s belief on the first day and his extraordinary coaching skills in every race helped Tüzünkan come out on top in these challenging races.
