Dereboyu Sprint Duathlon, A Challenge Where Talent And Endurance Are Tested!
In a breathtaking sports feast at the Dereboyu Sprint Duathlon, a total of nearly 60 athletes, 40 individuals and 8 teams, competed on the streets of Nicosia with challenging running and cycling stages. The sprint duathlon, which included a 5 km run, a 20 km bike ride and then a 2.5 km run, was an event of intense competition.
Enis Alçıcı, competing on behalf of Ares Sports Club, displayed exceptional speed and endurance to triumph in the overall first place. Ares Sports Club dominated the podium with Hüseyin Arhan taking second place and Erim Debreli, also from Ares, taking third place.
In the Women’s Category, Mine Devrim from Tüfekçi Sports Club took the first place. Melda Ünal, competing on behalf of Ares Sports Club, took the second place, while the third place went to Nuran Öze, also from Ares.
