KKTF National Team Selection Tournament Completed

The National Team Selection Tournament organized by the Northern Cyprus Tennis Federation (KKTF) in cooperation with the Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) ended. Young tennis stars competed fiercely for the National Team Selection Tournaments to be held in Istanbul and Adana.

This prestigious tournament, held at KKTF facilities on November 24-27, brought together the best young tennis players of the country in the 12, 14 and 16 age categories. The tournament, where the top eight players in the KKTF classification were invited, was the address of intense competition and high level tennis.

The group matches were played in a 3-set format with the winner taking 2 sets. In case of equal sets, Match-Tiebreak was applied. In the semi-final and final matches, the skills of the athletes were fully displayed by playing a normal set in the third set.

Players who were champions in their categories had the chance to participate in the TTF’s National Team Selection Tournaments in Istanbul and Adana with a Wild Card. This success will also give the athletes the opportunity to compete under the Turkish flag in Tennis Europe tournaments.
