Kyrenia Cup Ended: CIU Became the Champion!
The U14 Kyrenia Cup ended with a spectacular final that included breathtaking battles, exciting moments and fierce competition of international teams. In the tournament, Cyprus International University (CIU), representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, achieved a great victory and became the champion.
The ranking of the teams that faced each other in the final of the tournament was as follows:
Champion CIU (TRNC) At the top of the U14 Kyrenia Cup, CIU achieved the championship with a tremendous performance. Dominating the tournament with its strong defence, effective attacks and team play, UKU became the pride of the island.
Second: METU GVO (TC) Middle East Technical University Development Foundation Schools (METU GVO) took the second place in the tournament. Drawing attention with their hard fights and successful performances, METU GVO showed a significant progress throughout the tournament.
Third: Kazakhstan Kazakhstan U14 team finished the tournament in third place and won the bronze medal. Kazakhstan’s young talents made a name for themselves throughout the tournament with their impressive performance at the Kyrenia Cup.
The fights that mesmerised the audience throughout the tournament made the Kyrenia Cup unforgettable. The fact that the organisation attracted great interest from international sports fans and local people once again underlined the importance of Kyrenia in sports tourism.
