In the inter-high school basketball tournament, Near East College qualified to be among the top 8 schools in Turkey with its outstanding performance. In the last semi-final match played today, the team defeated their older rivals Ordu High School 80-69 and reached the final. The leadership and impressive performance of team captain Doruk Onet was also noteworthy in this victory.
Near East College’s last game in the semifinal was also full of excitement. The team, which started the match fast, displayed a superior performance against its opponent and finished the first period ahead.
